Problems without an obvious answer.
The lab is where I take on problems I do not yet know how to solve and follow the larger questions behind them. How can AI carry expert judgment? How can its work be checked? What should remain in human hands?

Possible Futures
Runs a decision forward many times, with each party represented separately and every move recorded in plain language.
It is not a forecast. Possible Futures is a way to surface assumptions, recurring dynamics, and outcomes a group may not have considered.
This is still lab work. I am testing where the method is useful before presenting it as a finished service.
Have a live decision involving several parties and a real deadline? Tell me what has to be decided, who is involved, and when. I will tell you whether Possible Futures is a useful fit for a trial run.

Doxa
A portable format I am developing for knowledge and the judgment needed to use it.
A body of documents is not the same thing as expertise. An expert also knows what to trust, what to check first, how ideas relate, and where the knowledge runs out.
The aim is to keep source material together with those reading instructions in one portable file. I use Doxa in the lab to explore whether an AI system can receive more than search results and work with a body of knowledge according to its author's judgment.

Work with the lab
If your work involves a consequential decision, a difficult body of source material, or knowledge that needs to travel between people and AI, I would be glad to hear about it. Lab projects sometimes begin as conversations or collaborations.
